Travelling Through Italy Efficiently
With flying becoming ever more popular and accessible you can always be sure of catching a flight to Italy wherever you live in the world and with the many popular international airports in Italy itself you will have no problem travelling to this wonderful country. Once you are there however, you may ask yourself how you go about travelling around the country to make sure you visit all the places you plan to see. Obviously one of the options is hiring a car and if you are looking to see some of the more off the beaten track places then this may be an option worth considering. However if you are someone who really does not relish the idea of driving around an unfamiliar country then there are other options that you can choose from.
Thankfully the rail network in Italy is excellent and is one of the most popular forms of transport not only because of its great accessibility but also because of it being an inexpensive way of travelling. There is no better way than to sit back and relax whilst watching the scenery pass by. Even travelling around some of the cities is easier by train although if you are looking to travel through the countryside and see some of the smaller villages it is always better to check beforehand to see if they actually have a train station.
Eurostar train travel in Italy is considered the most expensive but it is also considered the most luxurious of trains given the fact of their speed and quietness and also of course that they are air-conditioned, they really do make for a delightful way to travel. Of course there are smaller and slower types of trains and it really does depend on your budget as to which will suit you the best.

The other option of course for travelling around Italy is by bus and depending upon where you want to travel to and from it can sometimes work out a lot more convenient to take the bus rather than the train even in the bigger cities. You can be sure that many of the smaller villages that do not boast a train station will always have bus stops and this can also be your way of finding those hidden and unspoilt villages. Unlike the trains the bus schedules can be a little be flexible but if you bear that in mind when waiting for the buses then it may not become as frustrating for you.
Obviously you may want to mix and match the way that you travel and if you already know which towns and cities you wish to visit then you can find out where you can catch a train and where you have to resort to the bus, that way you will not miss out on any of the destinations that you have chosen to visit and it will make the journey a more relaxed and enjoyable experience especially if you have the times listed beforehand.
